Stockholders or their legal proxyholders can participate, submit questions, vote and examine the stocklist at the virtual annual meeting by visiting www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/CVX2020 and entering the 16-digit Control Number listed on the Proxy Card, Notice Regarding Availability of Proxy Materials, Voting Instruction Form, or Voting Email received in connection with the Annual Meeting. In the event of a technical malfunction that prevents the commencement of the Annual Meeting within 30 minutes of the time for which the Annual Meeting was called, the Annual Meeting shall be adjourned, to reconvene at 8:00 am PDT on Monday, June 1, 2020, at 6001 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon, CA 94583, solely for the purpose of determining the new date, and adjourning a second time to reconvene virtually on the new date. Because the agenda would be solely to set a new date and because of the concerns of COVID-19, no stockholders would be admitted. The Company will announce on its Investor Relations website at www.chevron.com/investors the new date and time for convening the virtual meeting and conducting the business of the meeting. If, during the Annual Meeting, there is a technical malfunction that prevents the Company from proceeding, the Annual Meeting will be concluded, and, unless the polls have already been closed, the polls on all items of business will close at 12:00 pm PDT on the date of the Annual Meeting.
