SAN RAMON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 1, 2009--
Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) today announced that its
subsidiary Chevron Africa Holdings Ltd. completed the sale of 100
percent of its shareholding in Chevron Uganda Ltd. to Total Uganda Ltd.
(Total). Chevron announced on November 3, 2008, that Chevron Africa
Holdings Ltd. agreed to sell its marketing affiliate in Uganda to Total.
Chevron Uganda Ltd.’s assets included 72 Caltex-branded service
stations, an aviation operation at Entebbe International Airport, two
lubricants warehouses and four fuel depots. Additional information on
the transaction was not disclosed.
