SAN FRANCISCO, Jul 31, 2002 -- The Board of Directors of ChevronTexaco Corp. (NYSE: CVX) today declared a quarterly dividend of 70 cents per share, payable Sept. 10, 2002, to stockholders of record as of Aug. 19, 2002. The dividend rate is unchanged from the preceding quarter.
